We're live!
I've updated the blog with schematics, photos, sound files, everything i have presented on groupdiy initially is there:
The name came to me yesterday, Rev-Log, as a nod to rev-log potentiometers that we use in audio, and also to reverse logistics:
'Reverse logistics or reverse distribution is a stage in the supply chain in which the product is returned from the point of sale to the manufacturer or distributor for recovery, repair, recycling, or disposal.'
And yes, it's also a little reference to death and to the creative process, the transition from one stage to another!
My aim with the blog is that it becomes an oasis for creative minded people
I will invite other people to contribute and share about their own angle of view on life, so it won't be solely focused on audio or on my activities.
But that's the ideal plan of course, since i can't force other people to start contributing instantly, for now it's gonna be centered around my activities and our hobby, tubes audio design, since i'm the only one providing content still :)
You guys can already register and post comments underneath the articles, so we can have conversations like threads here!
If we see that it's not enough for interaction, i'll make a dedicated classic 'Rev-Log' forum!
Iteration 1 as always, and we'll make it evolve according to our needs!
I will release the app on the app store today, or tomorrow, i will let you know when it's live:
As a dev it's going to be quite a first step! I've never released a paid app. The 3d painting / sculpting app i did over the last two years is much more complicated, but i still couldn't price it, nor really talk about it at all, nor release it!
So while i was populating articles yesterday i told myself it would help me frame that better, and i think it will even allow me to publish that other paid app as well..
When i told you that what you allowed me to do would reflect in the other domains of my life, that's the application of it.
Eternal thank you to our community!

I took that photo on the day of my birthday this year, 43! You can see a nice trail of tears on my cheeks! I was in 'torrent of tears mode', and sent that photo to my psychologist, as a wink to our first year, where i was crying torrents of tears on my birthday while i was being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.. Both the shock and the positivity of finally knowing who you are! Tears of joy..
It was the day i made the first usb-c tube reverb as well, superb eurêka bday lol!
