OG-6 Tube Preamp Schematic

Here's a very simple and very good sounding one based on a 6AU6 / EF94.

I called it OG, because it was one of the first tubes i explored!
6 because 420, OG Kush, OP-6 etc..

I learnt how to put pentodes in triode mode with these and 6ak5 :)

Relistening to it, i love its sound.

I added sound samples from two very nice sounding tubes:

A Fivre one sounds simply perfect on the low end, i love the angle of presentation it gives to the track, it infuses the non-chalant bass a lil bit of new wave's intention, which i find works wonderfully on that tune.

The TFK one is more upfront, what it does is beautiful as well, but it's almost a tad too much for me, i loved the Fivre one!

Cool inexpensive tube if i remember well!

I love its electric feeling and how you only have to set your volume and there you go!
